Deseret International is a non-profit organization designed to provide health intervention for over 21 under-developed countries. The organization focuses particularly on children and strives to correct certain surgical issues such as cleft palate. Trivani is currently working with Deseret International and the Leslie DeeAnn Foundation to construct a cataract clinic in the Philippines. This clinic will provide expensive surgeries to local villagers for only $25.
Other health intervention services include developing health programs in dentistry and optometry, and decreasing the amount of AIDS and other diseases in these areas. |
